Preface:
As the most economically energetic city in China and one of the Ten Best Commercial Cities in China, Qingdao won the No.1 in 2005 the Most Yearning City in China and 2005 the Most Elegant City in China. With the slogan of Meeting in Beijing and Sailing in Qingdao, Qingdao is the host for regatta item of 2008 Olympic Games. Qingdao is a city full of pre-mature consumption and with very high city comprehensive economic index. In 2005 its total consumption amount reached up to 86.59 billion yuan which is 16.98% of the consumption amount of the whole province and 1.29% of the total consumption amount of the whole nation. And therefore Qingdao is a city with great potential market consumption power.
There are more than 1000 producing companies of ornaments in Qingdao whose products have been exported to everywhere in the world including USA and Europe. Its production takes up to more than 30% of the international ornament market. The future’s Qingdao will become the centre for international ornament market. The foundation of super large wholesale markets including Qindao Korean Ornament Accessory City, Qingdao Sino-Korean Small Commodity City and Qingdao Artware City etc. has great pushing power for the development of China ornament industry. 2007 the 6th China Qingdao International Fashion Ornament Fair will be held in Qingdao International Exhibition Centre from May.24,2007 to May.27,2007.
